Applications :

Waterproofing sleeves made of strong, extremely flexible EPDM. Ideal for quick and permanently airtight duct penetrations through the airtight layer. Can also be used externally, e.g. on sub-roofs or renovation vapour barriers. Adhesive bonding with TESCON No.1 or TESCON VANA adhesive tapes.

No protruding cable glands, quick installation. Cables and conduits can be slid in even after installation, without damaging the airtight seal.

Substrates:

Before bonding, clean the substrates with a brush or wipe them with a cloth. Gluing is not possible on substrates covered with a thin layer of ice. The materials to be bonded must not be coated with non-stick substances (e.g. grease or silicone). They must be sufficiently solid.
All pro clima interior and exterior membranes (vapour retarders, air sealing membranes, dust protection foils, roof underlays and wall formwork strips) as well as PE, PA, PP and aluminium foils for air sealing can be permanently bonded with the above-mentioned adhesive tapes. Glues and joints can be applied to planed and varnished wood, rigid plastics, metals (e.g. pipes, windows, etc.) and rigid wood-based panels (chipboard, OSB, plywood, MDF and wood-fibre roof underlay panels). If wood-fibre roof underlayments are to be bonded, they must first be treated with TESCON PRIMER RP.
The best results in terms of building protection are obtained on substrates of excellent quality.
It is up to the user to check the suitability of the substrate. If necessary, it is recommended to carry out bonding tests.
