SAFETY VALVE FOR CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM
Installing this valve will prevent the motor from breaking if it has to run empty: the motor unit operates with all the suction connections closed. Recommended for all installations with start-up via a Wifi system.
The Vac-Valve is designed to protect your central vacuum system against possible damage caused by: Clogging in the network, forgetting to turn off the Wifi start-up system, RetraFlex systems, etc.
It can be positioned horizontally or vertically. The Vac-Valve must be adjusted in relation to the power (vacuum) of the motor so that it provides the appropriate protection.
Adjusting the valve :
- To adjust the Vac valve, tighten nut N°1, to compress the spring, so that the valve does not open when the air flow is 100%.
- The valve should open and provide an air intake as soon as the network is running at idle, or as soon as the suction port on the handle or cane is blocked…
- Once you have reached the right setting, turn nut No. 2. This setting generally allows the vacuum valve to open and supply cooling air to the system when a vacuum system is operating.
- Make adjustments by moving the No. 1 nut up and down until you reach the correct setting.
- The Vac valve must remain closed if the control unit is operating normally.
- The Vac valve is equipped with a safety nut N°2 which must be placed against nut N°1. This will ensure that the Vac valve voltage setting remains constant. No maintenance is required for the Vac-Valve.
