Identity of the data controller

France Aspiration is responsible for the personal data you provide to us. In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, France Aspiration is the “data controller”.

When placing an order, no banking data is collected or stored by France Aspiration. This banking data is provided by the customer via the order form or verbally when the customer wishes to place an order over the phone with the assistance of one of our advisors. This sensitive data is only processed by authorized employees.
What is the legal basis for our use of your personal data?

Right of access, rectification, and deletion
In accordance with the amended “Informatique & Libertés” law of January 6, 1978, the user has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data. The user can expressly object to the processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights, the user can send a letter to France Aspiration, 275 rue de l’Ormière, 31380 Garidech, or send an email to contact@franceaspiration.com.
The request must be signed and accompanied by a valid identification document with the user’s signature.
France Aspiration has a period of 2 months from the receipt of the user’s request to respond. If there is no response or if the response is unsatisfactory, the customer has the right to contact the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority).
The user can delete their customer account and all associated personal data at any time by accessing the “My Account” section. France Aspiration commits to deleting all personal data accordingly.
Data retention period
France Aspiration retains data for a period of three years following the end of the relationship with the prospect, and for five years following the end of the relationship with the customer. The period begins either from the last order, the last login to the customer account, the last call to customer service, the sending of an email to customer service, clicking on a hyperlink in an email sent by France Aspiration, adding products to the cart without completing the purchase, or responding positively to an email asking if the customer wishes to continue receiving commercial prospecting after the 3-year deadline. At the end of this period, customer or prospect data will be anonymized.
Therefore, the customer will need to create a new account if they wish to reorder from France Aspiration. All previous orders and invoices will no longer be accessible.
However, information necessary to establish a right or contract, or retained to comply with a legal obligation, may be archived in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
The fate of personal data after death
France Aspiration informs the user that they have the option to establish, during their lifetime, instructions regarding the retention, erasure, and disclosure of their personal data after their death. These instructions can be general or specific. The user can modify or revoke these instructions at any time. To do so, the user can contact France Aspiration – 275 rue de l’Ormière, 31380 Garidech.
Newsletters
When a customer creates an account on France Aspiration, they are automatically subscribed to the newsletter. The purpose of the newsletter is to regularly inform them about ongoing promotional offers. They can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each newsletter.
