Troubleshooting
Why does my electrical circuit breaker trip when I turn on my central unit?
First, reset your circuit breaker and try turning on your central unit again. Second, check if there are any faulty devices connected to your meter.
If the problem persists despite these checks, please contact us at 05.34.27.08.92. It could be an issue with the motor of your central unit.
If your central unit is still under warranty, we can arrange a return procedure. If not, please contact us so that we can work together to find a solution to your problem.
Why does my motor turn on and off without reason?
There can be several causes for this issue:
- It could be a loose connection at the hose and the switch. In this case, it is necessary to replace the switch and/or the hose.
- If the motor turns on and off without you touching the hose, it indicates a problem with the motor. In this case, please do not hesitate to contact us at 05.34.27.08.92.
Why can't I turn off my central unit with the switch?
- In order to operate the switch, you need to align the guide located at the end of the on/off hose handle with the two small lugs on the socket.
- By rotating the handle a quarter turn, the switch makes contact. Consequently, it doesn’t function properly.
- However, if the hose is properly aligned but the switch still doesn’t work, try rotating the handle a quarter turn to the right. You will notice that the central unit engages normally. This indicates that either the hose or the switch is defective.
For replacement or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 05.34.27.08.92.”
Advice
How to find a product compatible with my central vacuum unit?

Who installs my central vacuum system?
You don’t need to be a DIY expert to install a central vacuum system. It is completely possible to do it yourself. In addition, an installation guide is provided with your central unit.
However, it is also possible to hire a professional to carry out the installation.
How do you install inlet valves?
Safety reminder:
- Never supply the inlet valves with 220V power. For the safety of the occupants of the house, the inlet valves must be connected to low voltage.
- Never fully unscrew the connector screws during the connection. If the screw is fully removed, you may lose the spring that is placed under the screw and lose the contact.”
Safety measures in central vacuum systems
- Do not use the central vacuum system as a construction site vacuum. Our units are designed for residential use only. Do not vacuum plaster and cement, as this may void your central unit’s warranty.
- When performing maintenance on the central unit, remember to unplug and disconnect the power.
- Do not use the central vacuum on wet surfaces.
- Do not handle the vacuum with wet hands.
- Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
- Do not pull on the power cord and keep it away from heat sources. Do not use it if it is damaged.
- Do not vacuum burning or smoking objects.
- Do not vacuum liquids or flammable materials.
- Plug the central unit into a grounded outlet. In case of a problem, the grounding protects you from electric shock.
- The electrical installation must comply with the NF C15-100 standard.
- Do not place anything on top of the central unit to prevent motor overheating.
Tips for installations and connections
To prevent your network from clogging, it is important to install the tees and wyes in the correct flow direction.
