How to choose your suction inlets?
At France Aspiration, we offer a wide range of suction inlets available in different shapes and colors. You can choose from wall inlets, floor inlets, service inlets, as well as kickplate dustpans.
Wall inlets are the most commonly used and can be installed at ground level for a discreet appearance or at switch height for easy connection of the flexible hose. They are available in various colors and materials, allowing you to easily match them with your interior décor. All our suction inlets at France Aspiration are compatible with standard PVC pipe dimensions and are also compatible with standard flexible hoses.
The Retraflex system, which features a retractable hose that hides within the wall, has its own unique inlet system.
For a first-time installation, France Aspiration offers complete “ready-to-install” inlet kits to simplify the installation process and ensure accuracy. You will find different kits available for your chosen inlet type, whether it’s a wall inlet, crumb collector, Retraflex inlet, and more.
How to determine the placement of the vacuum inlet valves?
A well-planned placement of the vacuum inlet valves will ensure that you can enjoy your central vacuum system with ease. The vacuum hose should be able to reach all corners of the house and navigate around furniture to reach the valves. Central points, such as hallways, near doors, and at the base of stairs, are ideal locations for installation. Areas behind furniture or doors should be avoided as they are difficult to access. To assist in planning the future locations, you can use a 30-foot (9.14-meter) cord or the vacuum hose itself.
